Facts to certify against
Certifying capacity is easier when you know what the workplace can actually offer. Nexus assesses the real duties, hours and worksite, and can arrange a functional capacity evaluation, so your certificate of capacity reflects what is available rather than guesswork. The medical judgement stays yours.
One point of contact
You should not have to chase the employer, the insurer or the case manager. As a SIRA-approved workplace rehabilitation provider, Nexus runs that coordination — suitable duties agreed with the employer, pre-approval sought from the insurer, the worker kept informed — and comes back to you only when a medical decision is needed.
Prepared case conferences
When a plan needs your input, Nexus arranges a medical case conference and does the groundwork first — current duties, what the worksite can support, where the return-to-work plan stands — so the discussion is short and specific. Your time goes to the clinical call, not the logistics.
Reported back, and within scope
As the return to work proceeds, Nexus reports what is happening on the ground and flags early when duties drift from what you have certified. If capacity has changed, you review it. Nexus does not diagnose, treat or vary clinical advice — it coordinates the return to work around the certificate you set.
