Website Terms of Use

This website is run by Nexus Rehab Pty Ltd (ABN 79 675 738 673), a workplace rehabilitation and injury-management provider based in New South Wales. We work with injured workers, employers, insurers and treating doctors on claims under the NSW workers compensation scheme. These Terms of Use set out the rules for using this website. By browsing the site or submitting a form, you agree to them. Please read them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

011. Acceptance and who these terms are with

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Nexus Rehab Pty Ltd (ABN 79 675 738 673), trading as Nexus Rehab ("Nexus Rehab", "we", "us" or "our"). They apply to your access to and use of this website.

By using the site, you accept these terms. If you are using the site for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

022. About this site

This website is for general information. It tells you who we are, what we do, and how to get in touch or make a referral.

Using this site does not create a service, client or professional relationship between you and Nexus Rehab. A relationship only begins if we agree, in writing, to act on a specific matter.

When you submit our contact form or referral form, you are sending us a request. It is not our acceptance of any matter. We may need to review the request, confirm details and check scheme funding before we can act, and we may decline a request.

044. Making a referral or submitting a form

Our site has two forms: a referral form and a contact form. Submitting a form sends us a request. It is not our acceptance of any matter, and it does not guarantee we will accept or act on it.

Before we act on a referral, we may need to confirm the relevant scheme and funding — for example, under the NSW workers compensation scheme. We will contact you if we need more information. Please send only the information that is needed, and take care with sensitive health information. We handle personal and health information in line with our Privacy Policy.

When you use our forms, please:

  • give accurate, current and complete information;
  • only share another person's details (for example, an injured worker's) where you are authorised or permitted to do so;
  • understand that submitting a form does not guarantee we will accept or act on the matter.

055. Intellectual property

The content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, images and layout — is owned by Nexus Rehab or used with permission, and is protected by law.

You may view and print pages for your own information or to consider our services. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, adapt or use our content for any other purpose without our written permission.

066. Acceptable use

Please use this site lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

  • use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone's rights;
  • submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
  • upload or send anything harmful, such as viruses or malicious code;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems or any data;
  • interfere with or disrupt the site, or the servers or networks that host it;
  • use automated tools to scrape, harvest or collect information from the site without our permission;
  • use the site to send spam or unsolicited messages.

088. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We take care with this site, but we provide it on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the site will always be available, error-free or secure, or that the information on it is complete, current or suitable for your purpose.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be lawfully excluded. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited — at our option — to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site, including any indirect or consequential loss.

099. Privacy

We handle personal information, including sensitive health information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and, for health information, the NSW Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information. You can read it at /privacy.

1010. Changes to the site or these terms

We may update, change or remove parts of this site at any time. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time.

The current version will always be on this page, with the "last updated" date shown at the top. By continuing to use the site after we make changes, you accept the updated terms.

1111. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree that the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction over any matter connected with these terms or your use of the site.
