Workplace rehabilitation across Canterbury-Bankstown

Nexus Rehab is a SIRA-approved workplace rehabilitation and injury-management provider working across Canterbury-Bankstown, from Bankstown and Campsie through to Belmore, Earlwood and East Hills. We come to the workplace, meet in the community, or work by telehealth, so there is no clinic to visit. Our job is to coordinate a return to work after a work or road injury, not to provide medical care.

Rehabilitation across Canterbury-Bankstown

Canterbury-Bankstown is one of Sydney's larger and most diverse areas, with work spread across manufacturing and warehousing, transport and logistics, retail, healthcare and aged care, and the trades. An injury in this kind of work often means a role cannot be done the usual way for a while. Nexus reads the certificate of capacity, carries out a workplace assessment on site, and works out suitable duties the business can actually offer. We keep the worker, employer, insurer and healthcare team moving to one plan, and we coordinate that side of the claim rather than diagnose or treat.

Who we work with

Referrals come from insurers and case managers, from employers, or from the injured worker, who can choose their own provider under the NSW scheme. Across Canterbury-Bankstown we work alongside the nominated treating doctor and the employer to keep the return to work on track. Whether the referral is for a warehouse hand in Condell Park or a retail worker in Campsie, the coordination job is the same.
