Workplace rehabilitation across Eastern Suburbs
Nexus Rehab is a SIRA-approved workplace rehabilitation and injury-management provider working across the Eastern Suburbs. We travel to the workplace, from the Bondi Junction retail precinct to a restaurant kitchen or a Randwick employer, see workers in the community, or meet by telehealth, so there is no office to come to. We coordinate return to work; we do not provide clinical care.
Rehabilitation across Eastern Suburbs
The Eastern Suburbs stretch from the beaches at Bondi to the bayside around Brighton-Le-Sands and Botany, and the work is largely hospitality and retail, healthcare and education around Randwick, and professional services. Kitchen, floor and front-of-house injuries here usually turn on whether modified hours or lighter duties can be arranged, and that starts with looking at the actual role. We assess the work on site and build a return-to-work plan that matches the treating doctor's certificate of capacity. The worker, employer, insurer and healthcare team work to one plan, and we keep all four coordinated while the clinical decisions stay where they belong.
Who we work with
Referrals come from insurers and case managers, from employers, and from injured workers, who can nominate their own provider under the NSW scheme. Across the Eastern Suburbs we work with employers and their treating doctors to agree suitable duties and keep the return to work moving. We handle the coordination; a worker's medical care stays with their own treating team.
