Nexus Rehab is a SIRA-approved workplace rehabilitation and injury-management provider working across the Inner West. We come to the workplace, whether that is a cafe in Balmain, a studio in Annandale or an office in Burwood, meet workers in the community, or connect by telehealth, so there is nowhere you need to travel to. Our job is coordinating return to work, not medical treatment.

Its workplaces are often small, which makes finding suitable duties a practical conversation rather than a matter of moving someone to another department. We assess the role as it is really done and turn a certificate of capacity into duties the business can actually offer, covering the tasks, the hours and the adjustments. We keep the worker, employer, insurer and healthcare team on one plan and coordinate it, without stepping into clinical care.
Who we work with
Referrals come from insurers and case managers, from employers, and from injured workers, who can choose their own provider under the NSW scheme. Across the Inner West we work with small employers and treating doctors to set suitable duties and keep a return to work on track. We coordinate that side of the claim; the medical decisions stay with the worker's own doctor.
